Doug Briggman began working on cars in in the Washington, D.C. area in 1972. In 1979 he moved his family to Colorado Springs and began work at Thoroughbred Datsun. At that time he also received additional training in Denver and became the second technician in a nine state region to earn the title "Master Technician". Since his certification with Nissan, he has also earned the the ASE certification.
