About Us

We are a family owned automotive repair business, who has for the past eighteen plus years provided the Colorado Springs area with quality auto repair, and customer service. We pride ourselves in our work, but most of all, in our knowledgeable staff, and skilled, ASE certified  technicians. D & H Specialists grew out of a desire to better serve our customers. Early in 1982, Doug and Peggy Briggman were building a large and satisfied clientele out of their home. Due to the fast pace of growth, it became prudent to open a normal automotive repair shop. In 1984 Datsun and Honda Specialists, Inc. was born.

The first shop was located on LaMontana Way. Shortly thereafter, the name was changed to D & H Specialist, Inc. Over the growth of the first five years, and with the help of some key employees, D & H Specialists, Inc. rapidly ran short of space. In 1989, D & H Specialists, Inc. moved into their longest lived facility located at  2340-F Montebello Sq. Dr.

 In February we moved into  our new home at 410 S. 19th Street

Our hours of operation are:

        Monday -Thurs            7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

        Friday                             7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

        Saturday, Sunday                CLOSED

    We are located north of Cimarron  St., just past the intersection of 21st St. and Sheldon Ave..
